A Black Beauty- Bat Flower

The Bat Flower Tacca chantrieri belongs to the family Dioscoreaceae (Yam). It is native to India and Southeast Asia. The unusual black flower has long whiskers and looks like a bat.
Only diehard gardeners seem to like its outlandish beauty. The plant itself is attractive with bright green leaves, but it is hardly seen in any garden.

  11. Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you're working with? I'm looking to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking
    for something completely
